In 2010 Google stepped into the consumer electronics market with a tag of Nexus. This product by Google has seen major success and there have been six releases under the smart phone tag and four tablets up till now. The battery backup is big with 3220 mAh battery featuring the Turbo Charging Technology.
The device sports a 3 GB RAM and just like the predecessor it neither consists of the SD card slot nor has a removable battery or a FM radio. The Nexus 6 is launched under two storage capacities 32 GB and 64 GB. It has a Wireless charging feature and on the Connectivity end it sports GSM / LTE / CDMA plus Bluetooth v4.1. The screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and the device also has USB on the Go facility which needs to be enabled by the user for exchanging data with external storage devices. The Turbo charging facility has revamped the battery charging process which has extended for up to six hours within just fifteen minutes. This is a single sim handset and comprises of the Nano-sim variant. Google has tried to launch itself in the big screen market with Nexus 6.
The company has always had high hopes with the Nexus series and it has always delivered more than expected. Firstly there were no plans by Google to enter the consumer electronics market but after seeing its development and growth it changed its mind and we all can see the results.
